Pumpkin Decorating Contest Rules

Get ready for some festive fun! Here’s everything you need to know to enter and enjoy our first-ever Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Chico Marketplace.

Key Dates:

• Registration Opens: September 8, 2025
• Pumpkin Drop-Off Deadline: October 8, 2025 extended
• Voting Begins: October 6, 2025
• Voting Completes: October 22, 2025
• Display Ends: October 31, 2025
• Optional Pickup: Take your pumpkin home after our Costume Contest event on October 25th.

Voting Details:

• Voting begins October 6, 2025.
• Vote in person at the mall by scanning the QR code on display signage.
• Each pumpkin will have a unique number, that’s how you cast your vote.
• The top 5 pumpkins with the most votes will win!

Prizes:

Winners will receive gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods or JCP:

1. 1st Place – $200
2. 2nd Place –$150
3. 3rd Place – $100
4. 4th Place – $75
5. 5th Place – $50

Votes will be tallied by Chico Marketplace Management, and all decisions are final.
